Yom Kippur Self Examination: 10 Days of Awe Series – Day Four
“Remember the Sabbath day, to set it apart. “Six days you labour, and shall do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of יהוה your Elohim. You do not do any work – you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. “For in six days יהוה made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore יהוה blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart. ~ Exodus 20:8-11

Group discussion allows you to share your insights with others who are participating in the study. Additional insight can be gleaned from the Observations of the group, so please share yours for discussion!
Inductive Torah Study: The Feast of Trumpets
The Feast of Trumpets is the first of the three fall feasts. It is a memorial feast as well as a prophetic Feast Day as Yeshua has not yet fulfilled it. In this study we will inductively study the references of the Feast of Trumpets as well as trumpets to see this prophetic aspect.
Begin with PRAYER. Pray for understanding of what you will be studying and that above all that you will have a heart to seek and to know YHVH and His Ways.
The first reference to a topic gives us important context, in this case we see that the first reference to “trumpets” is the command to celebrate as a Feast. We will first OBSERVE the text and list what it says about the Feast of Trumpets.

Confusion & Clarity
Yeshua is the point of all of the Feasts. The Feasts are YHVH’s prophetic teaching appointments, rehearsals to teach us about Him and His redemptive and restorative purpose through His Son Yeshua. Yeshua did/does/will do, all of this work on the “appointed time” of the Feasts – they are YHVH’s “appointed times” that He says He will do His redemptive and restorative work. They are “shadow” pictures that teach us spiritual Truth, Col 2:17, Heb 8:5, 10:11. All caps are for emphasis only.

Feast Days of YHVH (God) – Who Are They For?
Why do WE think the Feast Days & Appointed Times of our LORD were only to be observed by the Jews? Was the instructions not given to all 12 tribes of Israel by Moses and not just to Judah?
