The Bride of Messiah
If you’re living with someone without making the covenant vows, how do you think God sees that in relation to our Messiah and His supposed bride? I don’t think God approves of the common law marriage process for His son.
Ever wonder why it’s called the Ark of the Covenant? It’s because it contains a copy of the marriage vows in it.
We are the Bride and we are to be submissive to our Husband. In exchange, He has made a covenant of promise to provide for us.This is the Bible in it’s most simplistic form. It’s all about COVENANT.
Our churches say it’s all about Grace. Wrong, grace is the forgiveness for cheating on our Husband and breaking the terms of the covenant. Grace brings back restoration to our Husband… but it’s only through doing our best in keeping the covenant vows that we remained married.
Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Heb 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
Heb 10:28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
Heb 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
So, what is sin? There is only one definition in all of scripture.
1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
